Welcome to the
Michiana Boat & Sports Show
What to Expect
This show offers an opportunity to:
- Browse the latest boat models, pontoon boats, fishing boats and other marine craft.
- Talk with boat dealers, marinas and marine-service vendors.
- See accessories, marine electronics, outdoor gear related to boating and water sports.
- Possibly find show-special pricing or deals if you’re looking to purchase.
- Get ideas, compare brands and models in one location.
Why Attend
- It’s a regional gathering: one of the larger boat-&-sports shows in the Michiana area (Northern Indiana / Southwest Michigan region).
- Convenient venue (Century Center in South Bend) with easy access.
- Good opportunity if you’re in the market for a boat or marine gear — you can see many options under one roof.
- Family friendly (kids under 12 free, designated hours) — good for a weekend outing.
- If you’re boating or water-sports enthusiast, or thinking of getting into it, this is a chance to explore and compare
Tips for Planning Your Visit
- Go early on Friday if you want first look, or late on Sunday for possibly quieter crowds.
- Bring questions: ask about engine types, trailer/hitch setup (if you tow), storage & winterization, brand warranties.
- Take measurements: If you’re buying a boat, consider your storage location, trailer size, towing vehicle, etc.
- Check parking/venue logistics: Century Center has parking; plan for traffic and any shuttle if needed.
- Budget extras: Tickets are modest, but if you find a deal you like, be prepared (financing, trailer hitch upgrades, etc.).
- Compare vendors: If you're looking to buy, compare multiple dealers and models at the show — it may give you leverage.
- Make it a mini outing: Since it spans the weekend, you could pair it with a visit to South Bend, local dining, etc.
- Check for updates: Always verify show times and details close to the date via the official website. (Events can shift.)
